Cash Back Dining brings The Guestbook experience to everyday life with over 20,000 participating restaurants across the U.S.. By linking a credit or debit card, members earn cash back automatically and see their dining rewards directly in their Guestbook Member Dashboard.

How it works

Enrollment

  • Members visit dining.theguestbook.com to join.

  • They securely link a credit or debit card to their Guestbook dining account.

  • Members receive a confirmation and welcome email after successful enrollment.

Dining & Earning

  • Members dine at any of 20,000+ participating U.S. restaurants.

  • Eligible transactions are tracked automatically through the linked card.

  • Members earn:

    • 5% cash back when subscribed to Cash Back Dining promotional emails, or

    • 1% cash back if unsubscribed.

  • New members earn an extra $10 bonus when completing their first qualifying dining transaction within 30 days.

Rewards Processing

  • Rewards are processed within 7 days of a qualifying transaction.

  • Dining cash back appears in the member’s Guestbook Dashboard—alongside hotel rewards—for easy tracking.

  • Members can redeem their earnings as:

    • Cash Back

    • Cash for a Cause

    • Cash Forward (5%) toward future hotel stays.

Ongoing Engagement

  • Members receive periodic dining emails, featuring local restaurant offers, special bonuses, and personalized recommendations.

  • Post-dining review invitations help members share feedback and discover new favorite spots.

How do members enroll?

Where can members find participating restaurants?
Via the searchable restaurant directory and map on the Cash Back Dining website.

When are dining rewards received?
Within 7 days of a qualifying transaction.

What if a member unsubscribes from dining emails?
They’ll still earn, but at 1% instead of 5%.

Who can enroll?
Currently, only members with a U.S. ZIP code are eligible.

What if the card is linked to another dining rewards program?
Enrolling in Cash Back Dining will automatically unlink that card from the other program (e.g., Marriott’s Eat Around Town or Rapid Rewards Dining).
